Change Notes
- New: a Session Info panel in the top-left corner of the Arena window shows what the bot is doing. During a match you see the turn, the phase and the last move. You also see the queue, the account switch, the current and next account, games and wins, gold farmed and the daily quests.
- The bot never sees or clicks the panel: clicks go through it, it never takes the focus, and screen captures leave it out. It stays up while the bot runs, also with the bot's window minimized, and goes away when the bot stops.
- Tidier main window: below the buttons only the bot's status, in gold lettering with a play or stop symbol. Queue and Account Switch show their setting on the button. Right-click Account Switch to tell the bot which account is open in Arena.
- New: everything the bot logs also scrolls by live in its terminal window.
- Faster start: reading the daily quests at Start used to take about 50 seconds of Home clicks and waiting when Arena was already on Home. It now takes a few seconds.
- Fixed: the progress bar at Start kept saying "Loading card data" while the bot was already reading quests and clicking through Arena. It now names each step.
- New and opt-in: "Enable Forge Engine (experimental)" under Settings → Bot Behavior. With it ticked, the open-source Forge rules engine and AI choose lands, spells, abilities, instants, attacks, blocks, targets and scry/surveil, and the bot carries them out with its own clicks.
- Where Forge has no answer (still starting, timeout, crash, or a move the bot cannot do) the bot decides as before. The mulligan always stays with the bot. With the box unticked, none of the Forge code runs.
- The first enable downloads the engine once, about 85 MB (Windows only, needs about 2 GB of RAM). The download is checked against a pinned SHA-256.
- Fixed: since 1.6.0 the bot could sit on Home forever without queueing, clicking Home every few seconds and logging "Quest reroll: stale data". This was seen with a 1600×900 Arena window.
- The quest reroll's Home check now works at that window size, so the Profile → Home refresh runs and fresh quest data arrives.
- A reroll that cannot run is now given up after three attempts, so the bot always goes on to queue.
- Fixed: the bot could enter or play whatever event was last open on your account, such as a Draft left in progress, instead of Starter Deck Duel. Thanks to the community member who reported it on Discord.
- Before pressing any Play button, the bot now checks that it really is on the Home screen or on the Starter Deck Duel page. If another event's page is open, it goes back to Home instead.
- If Arena is ever told to join or queue an event the bot must not enter, the bot stops itself so it does not keep playing in it.
- Before conceding a stuck game, the bot checks that it is still its turn to act, so it no longer gives up games because of outdated match state.
- Scry, Surveil and card selection windows are checked to have closed, with a few limited retries if a button was missed.
- Quest rerolls find the 500 Gold label more reliably, and unfinished rerolls are retried before switching decks or accounts.
- Reward, disconnect and end-of-match screens are cleared automatically, so the bot gets back to the next game.
- Support for optional "Submit 0" targets and picking a single card from your own graveyard, plus better mana source handling.
- Concedes caused by a stuck game or the inactivity timer now leave a local record in the runtime/concedes folder with the reason and a privacy-masked screenshot of the game window.
- When Arena ignores a cast, the bot checks for changes in the card or game state, waits through selection and payment prompts, and re-asks the AI instead of blindly retrying.
- After another ineffective cast, the bot passes priority instead of retrying blindly a third time.
- The bot aborts cleanly if MTGA loses foreground focus.
- Fewer forced concedes expected, with a better overall win rate.
- Historic navigation now scales to the Arena client size, so it can queue matches outside 1920 × 1080.
- Starter Deck selection opens from the deck art, including after the event has been completed.
- Added automatic recovery for matches that stop making progress.
- Fixed a Historic navigation regression that prevented the bot from reaching a match.
- Historic now chooses a deck that matches the active color quest before it queues.
- Fixed Historic queueing and avoided starting a match when an account switch was already due.
- The bot now rejects stale Arena window coordinates after the client is moved or resized, then safely retries.
- Improved duplicate account-name handling and added a guard for Eaten Alive's additional cost.
- Added an optional automatic reroll for a daily quest worth 500 gold, with safeguards when the reroll cannot run.
- Fixed hand scanning on Windows after Arena's Unity 6 update by moving the cursor through the input path the client recognizes.
- The bot now clears two Arena overlays that could cover the hand and prevent cards from being scanned.
- Queue recovery now looks for the Report a Player dialog and resets its stalled-queue timer when a match ends.
- Player.log lines are buffered until complete so a partial write cannot hide the game-state messages that follow.
- Account rotation can now run quests and wins in separate passes.
- Improved combat confirmation and Linux credential entry to avoid missed attacks or mistyped logins.
- Added optional PC shutdown after an account rotation, with support for Windows and Linux.
- Fixed macOS ZIP updates and made account credentials work with different keyboard layouts.
- Added support for Windows display scaling and Linux Wayland, and improved first-time Starter Deck setup and account logout.
- Added blocker assignment and checks Ward costs before choosing a spell target.
- Improved quest reads, gold tracking, deck selection and account identity during rotation.
- Added handling for more card-choice prompts that could otherwise stall a match.
- Reduced decision-loop stalls and improved handling for modal choices, targeting and card abilities.
- Improved spell choices, including removal, lifegain payoffs and creatures returned from the graveyard.
- Moved stall detection into the session watchdog, consolidating the bot's idle-hang recovery.
- Added a watchdog that detects idle hangs and records when matches end.
- ZIP-installed copies can now check GitHub for new versions and offer an update at startup.
- Improved the bot window, version display and platform launcher.
- Hardened the ZIP auto-updater after review. The 1.0.3 version value was reset to 1.0.1 that same day.
- Added ZIP-install update checks, then reset this version value to 1.0.1 the same day. The feature later shipped in 1.1.0.
- Added real gold tracking, match completion and account-switching controls, with quest-aware deck selection.
- Introduced version tracking and the first startup check for GitHub updates.
